Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 2026  •  Effective Date: January 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FyrePress website and developer tool suite located at fyrepress.com. Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using FyrePress, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our site immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the FyrePress suite of developer tools, you accept and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses our services.

These tools are designed primarily for web professionals, server administrators, and developers managing WordPress environments. You represent that you have the technical knowledge to evaluate and properly deploy any code or configurations generated by our tools. If you are accessing FyrePress on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and references to “you” include both you and that organization.

2. Permitted Use

FyrePress grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our web-based generators to build, optimize, and secure WordPress websites. Generated code snippets, configuration files, SQL queries, and other output produced by FyrePress tools may be freely used in both personal and commercial projects, including client work, internal tooling, and open source contributions.

You are encouraged to adapt, modify, and integrate generated outputs into your own codebases. The generated code itself carries no FyrePress-specific license restrictions — once generated, it is your code to deploy as you see fit within the bounds of applicable law and the platforms on which you deploy it.

✓ What’s Allowed

  • Deploying generated snippets to client sites
  • Modifying generated scripts to fit your environment
  • Learning core WordPress patterns from generated output
  • Using tools for internal team workflows
  • Incorporating output into commercial products

✗ What’s Not Allowed

  • Bulk scraping our tool endpoints or HTML
  • Redistributing our UI as a competing service
  • Using tools for malicious scanning or exploitation
  • Circumventing any access controls we implement
  • Impersonating FyrePress or our team

3. Prohibited Activities

In connection with your use of FyrePress, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities. Violation of these restrictions may result in termination of your access to our tools and, where applicable, legal action.

  • Automated Scraping: You may not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated means to access, copy, or extract content from FyrePress at a rate or volume that could degrade service performance for other users.
  • Malicious Use: You may not use our tools to generate configurations, scripts, or queries intended to attack, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or data store that you do not own or have explicit authorization to administer.
  • Reverse Engineering: You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our proprietary tool logic or JavaScript application code for the purpose of creating a competing service.
  • False Attribution: You may not misrepresent FyrePress as the source of independently created code, or use our brand identity in ways that imply a partnership or endorsement that does not exist.
  • Interference: You may not attempt to probe, scan, or test our infrastructure for vulnerabilities or attempt to disrupt service availability for any user.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our tools are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. FyrePress does not warrant that the generated output will be completely error-free, perfectly suited for every server architecture, or compliant with every web hosting provider’s configuration requirements.

Server environments vary significantly in configuration, hosting provider restrictions, PHP versions, Apache/Nginx versions, and installed modules. Code generated by FyrePress is designed around common best practices but may require manual review and adaptation for your specific environment. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating generated output before deploying it to any live or production environment.

Always create a verified backup of your web infrastructure — including your database, files, and server configurations — before applying any changes generated by a third-party tool. This applies regardless of how confident you are in the generated output.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall FyrePress, its owners, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of — or inability to use — any tool, feature, or content on our platform. This includes, without limitation: loss of data, loss of revenue or profits, loss of business, site downtime, server misconfiguration, data corruption, or security breaches resulting from code or configurations generated by our tools.

This limitation of liability applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if FyrePress has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. Intellectual Property

The FyrePress brand name, logos, visual design system, UI layout, tool interface, and all original written content on this site are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws. All rights in the FyrePress platform — including but not limited to our neumorphic design system, tool interaction patterns, and documentation — are owned exclusively by FyrePress.

You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the FyrePress interface or brand identity without explicit written consent from FyrePress. This restriction does not apply to the code and configuration output generated by our tools, which you are free to use as described in Section 2. Screen captures or descriptions of FyrePress for editorial, educational, or review purposes are generally acceptable provided they do not mislead users about the source or nature of the tools.

7. User Conduct & Responsibility

FyrePress tools are powerful utilities for configuring web servers and databases. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make using our output. This includes the choice of which configuration options to enable, the environments in which you deploy generated code, and the consequences of misapplying generated configurations to incompatible server setups.

We strongly encourage all users to: (a) read and understand generated output before deploying it; (b) test configurations on a staging or development environment before applying changes to production; (c) maintain regular backups of all site files and databases; and (d) consult official documentation for your server software when in doubt. The existence of a generator tool does not substitute for technical understanding of the underlying systems you are configuring.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FyrePress and its contributors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from: (a) your use of and access to the FyrePress platform; (b) your violation of any provision of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or (d) any claim that code you generated using FyrePress tools caused harm to a third party. This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of your use of the platform and these Terms.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted by a mutually agreed arbitration body, or through the courts of competent jurisdiction in the applicable territory.

Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction where necessary to prevent irreparable harm.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms of Service at any time at our sole discretion. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted prominently. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

Your continued access to or use of FyrePress after any changes become effective constitutes your binding acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform. If you have specific concerns about a proposed change, contact us before the effective date and we will do our best to address them.
