Disclaimer
Last Updated: March 2026 • Effective Date: January 2025
This Disclaimer governs your use of the FyrePress website and developer tool suite at fyrepress.com. By using our tools and generated outputs, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use our tools.
The Golden Rule of Deployment
Never apply code, configuration changes, or database queries to a production environment without a verified backup and a successful staging test. No exceptions.
FyrePress is not responsible for site downtime, server misconfigurations, data loss, or security incidents resulting from the use of our generated outputs. Reviewing, testing, and validating all generated code before deployment is entirely your responsibility as the operator of your infrastructure.
1. Use With Caution
The tools and generators provided by FyrePress are designed for experienced WordPress developers and server administrators who understand the implications of the code and configurations they deploy. While every generator on our platform is built around established industry best practices and tested against common WordPress and server configurations, the scripts, configurations, and database queries generated here are provided “as is” without any guarantee of fitness for any particular environment, hosting provider, server version, or deployment context.
Web server environments are complex and highly variable. What works correctly on one server stack may behave unexpectedly on another due to differences in PHP version, installed Apache/Nginx modules, operating system, cPanel/Plesk configurations, custom server rules, or hosting provider restrictions. Always treat any generated code as a well-researched starting point, not a guaranteed final answer, and apply it only after review and testing appropriate to your specific environment.
2. Not Professional Advice
The information, tools, and generated outputs available on FyrePress do not constitute professional systems administration advice, cybersecurity consulting, legal advice, or any other form of professional advisory service. FyrePress is a software tool platform providing automated code generation based on general best practices.
Specific production environments — particularly those with compliance requirements (PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2), high-traffic workloads, custom server architectures, or enterprise security policies — may require configuration advice that goes beyond what any general-purpose generator can safely automate. In such cases, we strongly recommend consulting a qualified systems administrator, security engineer, or DevOps professional who can assess your specific environment before applying configuration changes.
Nothing on FyrePress should be interpreted as a recommendation to take or refrain from any specific technical action in a given environment without appropriate professional assessment.
3. No Warranty
FyrePress makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, or fitness for purpose of any generated configuration file, SQL query, code snippet, security rule, or other output produced by our tools. This includes but is not limited to: implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third-party rights.
While we maintain our tools and update them to reflect changes in WordPress core, Apache, Nginx, PHP, and related technologies, we cannot guarantee that all generated output is current, complete, or free from errors at all times. Software ecosystems evolve rapidly, and configurations that were optimal at the time of a tool’s last update may become suboptimal or incompatible with newer versions of the relevant software. You are responsible for verifying that generated output is compatible with the specific software versions running on your server.
4. Testing & Staging Requirements
We strongly urge all users to adhere to the following minimum testing practices before applying any FyrePress-generated output to a production server or live website:
- Create a complete backup of your website files, database, and server configuration files before making any changes. Ensure the backup has been verified as restorable.
- Deploy to a staging environment first. If your hosting provider or infrastructure supports staging environments, apply and test all generated code there before promoting to production.
- Review the generated output line by line. Understand what each generated rule, query, or setting does before applying it. Do not deploy code you cannot explain.
- Test core functionality after deployment. Verify that user-facing features, admin access, API endpoints, and critical workflows operate correctly after applying any configuration changes.
- Monitor error logs immediately after deployment. Check your server error logs and WordPress debug log for warnings or errors in the minutes and hours following any configuration change.
FyrePress accepts no liability for damage, data loss, or service disruption resulting from failure to follow these testing practices.
5. Client-Side Integrity
All FyrePress tools run entirely within your browser via JavaScript. This is a deliberate architectural choice that ensures your sensitive inputs (database credentials, server paths, configuration values) never leave your device. However, this architecture means that the tool’s behavior can be affected by your local browser environment in ways outside our control.
Factors that could potentially affect tool output include: browser extensions that intercept or modify JavaScript execution; aggressive content security policies applied by corporate networks or proxies; outdated browser versions that lack support for modern Web APIs; and ad-blocking or script-blocking software that prevents portions of our tool logic from loading correctly.
If you suspect that your browser environment is interfering with tool behavior, try using the tool in a private/incognito window with extensions disabled, or in a different browser. If you observe inconsistent or unexpected output, please report it at hello@fyrepress.com with details about your browser and OS.
6. Version-Specific Compatibility
FyrePress generators are designed to target current stable releases of WordPress, PHP, Apache, and Nginx at the time each tool is developed or last updated. WordPress core, its functions, hooks, and database schema evolve across major versions. Apache and Nginx directive syntax can change between releases. PHP functions and behaviors differ meaningfully between PHP 7.x, 8.x, and upcoming releases.
If you are running a non-standard version of any of these software components — including significantly outdated versions or early-access beta releases — generated output may not be fully compatible with your environment. Always cross-reference generated configurations with the official documentation for the exact version of the software you are running. Version compatibility information is noted in tool documentation where known, but cannot be exhaustively maintained for every possible combination of software versions.
7. External Links
Our tool pages and documentation may contain links to external resources including official WordPress.org documentation, Apache HTTP Server documentation, Nginx documentation, GitHub repositories, and developer reference materials. We link to these resources for your convenience and because they are authoritative references for the technologies our tools generate code for. However, FyrePress has no control over the content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices of any external website. The inclusion of any external link does not constitute an endorsement of that website, its content, or its operators. External links should open in new tabs or be clearly identified; if you find a broken or inappropriate external link, please notify us.
8. Indemnification
By using FyrePress tools and deploying the generated output, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FyrePress, its contributors, and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from or related to: your use of the generated output; your modification of generated code; your failure to test and validate outputs before deployment; or any action or inaction taken based on information found on FyrePress. This indemnification applies regardless of the nature of the claim and survives any termination of your use of the platform.
9. Corrections & Accuracy
We strive to keep all FyrePress tools accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with current best practices. However, we acknowledge that technical information can become outdated as software evolves, that edge cases may exist that our generators do not handle optimally, and that best practices in web server administration are sometimes subject to debate or context-specific variation.
If you identify an error, outdated recommendation, or a specific case where a FyrePress tool generates output that is incorrect or potentially harmful, we genuinely want to hear about it. Please contact us at hello@fyrepress.com with a description of the issue, the tool involved, and the specific output you believe is incorrect. We review all reports and will update affected tools as quickly as possible.
